Synergy Therapeutic Group operates from a single clinic at 1110 N Cedar Court, Carbondale, IL 62901. From this location we serve patients across southern Illinois — many of whom drive in from neighboring cities for chronic pain care, pediatric occupational therapy, and the kind of root-cause treatment that other clinics don’t offer.

Our Carbondale Clinic

Areas We Serve
Du Quoin, IL — 25 minutes north
Synergy started in Du Quoin in 2004. For seventeen years, we were Du Quoin’s PT and OT home. When we consolidated to Carbondale in 2021, many Du Quoin patients chose to keep coming. Marion, IL — 15 minutes east
Marion residents drive 15 minutes west on Route 13 for chronic pain physical therapy, pediatric OT, and community care for veterans through the Marion VA. Learn more about our care for Marion patients.

Why Patients Drive to Us
Patients regularly drive 20, 30, even 45 minutes to our Carbondale clinic. The reasons we hear:
- Specialty cases. Failed back surgery, fibromyalgia, chronic pain that has lasted years, complex pediatric developmental cases — these are what we do.
- One-on-one therapist time. Your full session is with a licensed therapist, not 15 minutes of hands-on followed by 30 minutes on a bike.
- Root-cause approach. Pain that hasn’t responded to standard care usually has a cause that other clinics missed. We find it.
- Continuity. Many of our patients have been with us since 2004. The team you start with is the team you finish with.
