Claire Wyatt, PTA
Claire is a Southern Illinois native from Murphysboro, Illinois, and graduated from the Southern Illinois University of Carbondale. She has worked as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with Synergy Therapeutic Group since 2012. She decided to become a PTA while aiding in her mother’s recovery of strength, endurance, and perseverance from a liver transplant in 2007. “The Physical Therapist taught us stretches and therapeutic exercises to do at home to aid in her recovery,” Claire explained. “I loved seeing her progress daily, weekly, and monthly.”
Claire enjoys being able to help anyone who is injured or in pain get back to the way of life they had prior to their pain or injury. She loves working with people and is eager to help people every day in and out of the therapy setting. In her spare time, she enjoys riding horses around the Shawnee National Forest with friends and visiting all the scenic places around beautiful Southern Illinois. She also enjoys completing chores around her barn and pasture including fixing fence, polishing saddles and tack, cleaning stalls, and spending quality time with her equines outside of riding. She has 1 horse, 1 mule, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a 10 gallon freshwater aquarium of fish which all keep her very busy doing daily chores and activities. Claire doesn’t have much time to sit and relax, but she wouldn’t have it any other way.
