A small introduction can change what comes next
Sometimes the most caring thing you can say is, “I know a place that may understand.”
Maybe it is:
- The friend who has stopped making plans because pain has taken over.
- The spouse who has tried medications, injections, surgery, or therapy but still has no clear answer.
- The parent who knows their child is bright and capable but sees how hard ordinary days have become.
- The family member who has slowly accepted limitations that do not feel like them.
You do not need to diagnose them or convince them. You only need to let them know they do not have to keep searching alone.
One clinic. Two paths. The same promise to look deeper.
For the person who has tried everything — and is beginning to lose hope.
Chronic pain, back or shoulder problems, women’s health concerns, dizziness, post-surgical limitations, or neurological challenges can change more than the body. They can affect sleep, confidence, relationships, and the ability to enjoy life.
At Synergy, we look beyond the painful area to understand how the whole body has been adapting.
For the parent who knows something is getting in their child’s way.
Sensory overload, handwriting problems, coordination, motor planning, attention, autism, and developmental challenges can affect the entire family.
We help parents understand what their child may be communicating through behavior — and build practical skills that make everyday life easier.
How helping someone takes just one step
You make the introduction
Text or email them this page, copy the link, or ask our team to reach out for you — always with their permission.
We listen first
We give them space to explain what has been happening and what they have already tried — before recommending anything.
We guide the right next step
We explain the service that fits, help check whether their insurance needs a physician’s referral, and schedule an evaluation only if Synergy is the right fit. They decide whether to move forward.
“I finally understand what has been happening in my body for three years. The first appointment changed everything.”
We see the whole person.
Pain, movement, stress, sleep, past injuries, and the nervous system all shape how someone feels.
Gentle and non-invasive.
Thoughtful, hands-on care built around the individual — not a standard protocol.
We are willing to look again.
Many people come to us after other treatment did not give them lasting answers.

If they have asked you to help, we can make the first call.
Share only their basic contact information. A caring member of the Synergy team will reach out, listen, answer questions, and help them decide whether taking the next step feels right.
What friends and family ask us
Will you pressure them to schedule?
No. The first conversation is simply about seeing whether we can help — not pushing anyone into anything.
Do they need a doctor’s referral to be seen?
Most often, no. In some cases it depends on their insurance — and our team checks that for them before they start.
Will you take their insurance, and what will it cost?
We check their coverage before they start — including whether we are in-network or out-of-network for their plan — so they know what to expect up front, with no surprises.
What actually happens at the first visit?
A thorough evaluation and a clear plan of care. We take time to understand the whole history first, and many people feel the difference that very first visit.
Will you tell me whether they scheduled or received treatment?
We can confirm that we received their information, but we cannot share anything about their care without their permission.
What if I am unsure whether they need adult therapy or pediatric occupational therapy?
Choose “Not sure” and our team will listen and point them to the right person.
Can they contact Synergy themselves?
Absolutely. They can call (618) 243-7822 or book an appointment online whenever they feel ready.
You May Not Know Exactly What They Need.
You can still help them stop searching alone.
One caring introduction may be the moment they realize there is another path forward.
Your body is not broken. Your child is more than a diagnosis. There is always more to understand.
